the worlds biggest dog ever according to guinness world record. "hercules" was awarded the honorable distinction of worlds's biggest dog by guinness world records. hercules is an english mastiff and has a 38 inch neck and weighs 282 pounds. with 'paws the size of softballs'.
hercules's owner j.flynn and his wife wendy of peabody,  massachetts own hercules. flynn, who is a big man himself, weighed 270 pounds and his dog still weighed more then him, tipping the scales at 282 pounds with a 38 inch neck.
